Playing in a brass band can be a very challenging experience and this is is especially true for those of us who strive to play on a competitive level. Crossroads was honored to welcome David Purkiss, (Musical Director for Ratby Co-operative Band) as guest clinician for our rehearsal this past Wednesday (2/19). It was an intense but highly enjoyable and educational 2 hours focused on our test piece.
